 Interesting concept in the email I received from a friend

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

'My Fellow Americans:  As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.   Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is totally complete.   This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq. This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom, Spain , Bulgaria , Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there.   
The other list contains every one not on the first list.  Most of the world's nations are on that list.   My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.   Let me start by saying effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war.

THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER IT'll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hellholes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.   Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .   In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home.  On that note, a word to terrorist organizations.  Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.   Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France or maybe China.  I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany,  Russia . Thanks for all your help, comrades.   We are retiring from NATO and the United Nations as well.   

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2.  Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.   Mexico is also on List 2 its president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment.  I will have a couple Extra thousand tanks and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put 'em? Yep, border security.   Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.   We are tired of the one-way highway.

Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska - which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come.  If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.
It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens.  Some will accuse us of isolationism.  I answer them by saying, 'darn tootin.'  
Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet.  It is time to eliminate hunger in America. It is time to eliminate homelessness in America.

To the nations on List 1, a final thought.  Thank you guys.  We owe you and we won't forget.
To the nations on List 2, a final thought:  You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

Man you sure got that one right!!!!!!! Democrats know only two things, over tax and over spend. Oh yeah, and if you vote Democrat you can kiss those nice tax cuts good bye. Obama and Hillary both say they'll get rid of the Bush tax cuts and you'll be paying more in taxes and getting A LOT less if any on your tax return. THAT'S a FACT!!!!!!!!!!

Or we can elect McCain and get as much accomplished as Stupid has in the last seven years . Oil companies will continue to get tax breaks, our government will continue to grow larger and government spending will continue to increase. We'll be fighting wars in Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan. Our strategic reserves will continue to be "almost full". Well get to listen to more damn whining about tax rebate checks not being on time and there will be even less manufactured in the USA to spend them anyways. Nice post. I agree with the entire letter. I consider myself an environmentalist, but also believe that this nation houses the minds to extract the oil from Alaska without decimating our last frontier.

Well here's one I'm certain I should steer clear of, but I'm not that smart. So speaking as a member of list #2, a Canadian. A country that, with 1/10th of your wealth and population has taken on one of the larger roles in Afghanistan since the beginning, your largest trading partner, your largest supplier of almost all your natural resources, including energy. I find your letter a little disturbing. Like all great lies and mistakes it is chock full of absolute facts presented in a very convincing way to prove a completely wrong and dangerous point. First of all your country can not live in isolation. If you want to have any control over what's happening in the world you can not lock yourselves up behind your borders and ignore the rest of the wold, George is doing enough of that already. The fact that most of the worlds countries did not and does not understand going into Iraq and stirring up a hornets nest doesn't make them wrong, They're sovereign states remember, they don't have to agree with you. Stop feeling sorry for yourselves, you're the richest country on the planet.

Have you ever seen the Global Village numbers? It goes like this.

If you have a full fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are wealthier that 75% of the worlds population.

If you currently have money in the bank and in your wallet, you are one of 8 people in 100 in the world.

So: work like you don't need the money, love like nobody has ever hurt you, Dance like nobody is watching, Sing like nobody is listening and Live as if this was paradise on Earth!

Wars, hatred, indifference is not what we need to promote and it won't make America a better place to live.

south Korea, Italy, Georga, Romania, Japan, Denmark, El Salvador.

and countries contributing in Afganistan

I think its interesting that the US has put so much into the betterment of life around the world and we get shat on all the time.  Those same people who take a dump on us are the first ones to ask us for help when the chips are down.   Yes, this country is the greatest one on the planet and probably the most wealthy one on the planet.  And we probably are better off than any other country on the planet.  

Sounds like some on this site feel like it's just not fair that the US has it so good.  We're such awful bad Capitalists.

Pretty good concept except that the SS system would be fixed in the next two years and then .....  talk about an opportunity to really lower our taxes!!!! 

So let's revise the letter a little and leave out some of the lies (ooops I'm sorry --- "untruths" for the more liberally PC that don't understand what a "lie" is)

Actually, the amount of our outgoing foreign aid is a fraction of a percent of the annual national budget, LITERALLY.  I know it feels good to say but it woudn't touch the war or SS.  I don't believe in helping those that don't support us, (before anyone throws that out)   Apparently US citizens are pleased to give to others since 79% of foreign aid contributions out of the US are actually private.  Who'd a thunk it?

I think we currently owe China over $600 billion??? (so I've heard) If someone has the actual $$$ amount we owe to other countries could you chime in??? I'd like to know...

What about those countries who owed us mega bucks from WWII and didn't pay?  Some of them are the same ones we owe today.
