Just wondered if there are any warrior owners in the South East ?

 I'm getting a 2008 Midnight Black one next Saturday !  It would be great to meet up with some other owners.

Welcome to the crew Steve.  We've got a few Suvverners in the fold here, Warriorblue (Maidstone), Bear (Camber Sands) & Gibbsy (Guildford I think), Gibbsy has a midnight Warrior also.  I hail from the Isle of Sheppy originally but don't hold that against me, I've only got 5 toes on each foot so had to emigrate off of the Island .  Where are you in the Saaaf?

Feel free to fire away wiv any questions you might have about the Warrior, there's a bunch of info and varying levels of experience on here so someone will have an answer for you, either that or they'll just take the pi$$ out of ya .

Post up some pics of your new beast when you get her.  How much did you pay and who did you buy it from?

 I live in Halling, Medway, Nr Rochester.

 I bought the bike for 8k with Datatool Alarm from KJM in Wigan.

I bought my last bike from them, just hope the weather is kind as its a 250 mile ride home.

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps, its nice to know that there is another warrior owner just down the road as I will need some advice soon on a few items.

However, I do have some bad news, phoned dealer today to confirm my collection next week and he tells me that hef made a mistake and they have sold out of Midnight Black .  They only have the new 2008 Red !

Not too happy.  Well to cut a long story short my second choice was the 2007 blue with silver, which I have now purchased from DK Motorcycles in staffordshire.   Also it was only £6999 + £149 OTR charges + got the same Datatool S4 alarm / tag system for £299 + deliver to my house next Friday for £52 !

So although not a Midnight, I managed to save around £800 taken into account train fares etc, also saves a whole day travelling.  Still going to have next Friday off work though

Great Website, will have to meet up sometime.

What does the standard exhuast sound like ?  When I had my VN900 it was very quiet.

I would like to change to some loud pipes a few months down the line but don't know where to start.  Are any of the aftermarket pipes legal and does the pipe need to be re-mapped ?

big exhaust long gone i run vance and hines shot guns with baffles and power commander with map to suit, i think you have to go with what ever you find sexy, each to there own

original was very quit but shakes the walls a treat lol 

have a look at all the site's for pipes as there are a lot 2 look at and i did look hard but as fossel said .
