To me your not that out of the way. By the way how long has your woman been riding? My wife is skidish about a bike being to heavy. Thats why the 250 something or other is what she wants to go on untill however long it takes. I try getting her to go with a 400 to 650 size, but nay. I saw a 250 for sale for 1,500.oo  Thanks for the reply.
My wife was riding for the summer in 05, became pregnant, stopped for two years, now she is rusty and lacks confidence. Her bike, the sportster, is too top heavy. I may trade it in for the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 which seems better balanced, has a lower seat, and is more confidence inspiring.

Welcome to the forum and the midnight club!

I am down in the DC area and ride up that way a couple of times each year.  There are several riders in area that I am sure would love to ride with you and the wife.  The PA Warrior riders are the slowest riders anyway, so you should have no problem with the ride pace.  Maybe it has something to do with the lack of a helmet law up in your parts.

Check this section of the forum for rides.  I should be up in the area for the Gettysburg Bike show and at least one other PA bike show this year.

Hey man, If your interested in rides this summer keep this forum saved in your favorites. Mid-Atlantic Forum
We get together from all over NJ, PA, NY for some day trips. Got up to 12-15 riders at times.

As for bustin balls, we all do it here on the forum. Until you build up some rep just add a smiley here or there so people know your intentions and you'll fit in good here. Also, yeah we rag the HD guys every once in a while but its all good natured. Mostly, Badges dont matter as long as your on 2 wheels.

Welcome to the best damn forum on the net!!!

Little too far for me, otherwise I'd join in.  Don't worry about the HD.  Nice bike.  Just that most of us went with the Warrior.  Guy in my group rides an Ultra Classic so it wouldn't matter to me.  Two wheels are two wheels, less you're coming to the plate with a scooter. Stick out tongue If you ever get down to the DC area, let me know.  If I'm not busy, maybe we can hook up for a little.  Good luck.

I want to thank ALL you guys for the warm welcome. If you want to buzzzz me my cell # is 484 225 5629. I have to put my wifes riding time first though when she wants to go, but any other time is and will be great for me. My days off work are Sat. & Tues. I just got my wife a yamaha 250 virago till she gets some miles under her boots. Then back to her 08 sporty.
