    Who Is On-Line jumps

I use the 'who is on-line' area to jump quickly to recent post for members I visit a lot and to revisit some topics.

Not that I take it personally (lol) but I notice I'm always at the end of the last page regardless of my session time.

Also my screen name is often concantenated although its fewer characters than some others that show complete.

Is there something I set-up on my end that is causing these pesky things to happen, can I adjust and fix?

I always find it interesting to hear all the different ways people view the site and what they do when logged in.  There's so many ways to get what you want out of it once you get used to it.

Mine is always last as well.  The forum software must be truncating your user name to fit under the Avatar.

    Re: Who Is On-Line jumps

Funny mine always seems to be in the last 2 or 3 but other members seem to jump around. I'm sure there is a reason for this, I just can't figure what it is. I liked the way the old forum did it, listing members from oldest to newest.

Ok, Just for giggles, My name is always in the last spot too. Must be cause we are from AZ!.

My biggest gripe about the new setup is that when you click on a topic or thread to read, it set you on the last comment made. I dont want to read the most recent comment, I want to read what the thread is about.

I have to browse back to the beginning just to find out what everyone is talking about.

Of course, thats just me. I am done whining. I will take my place at the back of the line again. (man, I am glad I didnt say I was taking my place in the rear.) lol

My name is last on the list of Who is on line too, and I heartily agree with BJMartin. I would surley prefer going to the beginning of the thread. The first thing I do is schroll from the bottom to the top to read the first post.

I think there is a setting somewhere to change that. I know that now, when I click on the subject line it takes me to the very first post. If I click the little arrow next to the person who replied then I go to the last post. It used to be the other way around for me too and I could swear there is a "settings" to change that.
