Cool [H] Upgrade your Warrior Front Brake

Finally I got what I ever wanted: A front brake setup for the Warrior that bites! 2 fingers and the bike will stop from 80mph in a blink of an eye (not literally Wink) http://www.fxstein.com/blog/index.php?op=ViewArticle&articleId=57&blogId=1

    Oliver,

This is a very interesting mod to me based on my experience with hydraulics ... that 16mm radial master w/adjustable lever must put out more psi then the 14mm pivoted factory version.

Excellent write-up and hats off to you Yes Big Smile

Is that the only lever that can be used? I am a big fan of function over form but if I can have both Im a very happy boy.

That clear hose mod looks awesome!!! I guess if you go this route you have to get an adapter to mount your right mirror.

I'm not a believer.  At the next Monster Garage maybe you can do some stoppies and show us?  Big Smile  Seriously though, that's excellent.  I want to see that bike of yours at some point.  I'm glad your blogging again, always great write ups.

Great Job!  I looked into something similar a while back but was too lazy to retofit the entire mc setup, being unsure of the results.  Although, I always liked the adjustability of the CRG levers!  Is there any way those CRGs would fit the stock Warrior perch?

    Braking USA has them

The goal of the radial master cylinder (radial is the direction of the piston’s movement) is to provide the same or more stopping power by using less force on the brake lever and also better brake feeling.

16mm for dual disc and 19mm for singles

Pazzo also make some great adjustable leavers, many different colors and color cobinations. about 160 a pair.

Nice mod, sorry not a fan of the res, yes it looks cool and I do like it, but not sure of function. Not saying it wont work because it will, I just have my reservations about durablity, on a rear brake sure, but not the front.

Running a stock tire I have yet to see the need for better brakes, the current system out performs the grip of the tire. I come from and still ride sport bikes on and off the track running race tires, compaired to that the warrior has no brakes and I frequently lock up my front tire trying to brake too hard.
