Is there anyway to have the default Sort Post: Oldest to Newest throughout the forums?

Sorry, but that doesn't change the Oldest to newest

Ok, ASCENDING (site options) has changed the default: Oldest to newest and now scrolls from top to bottom with the earliest post at top 

Thought i tried that yesterday and it didn't work ... oh well ...

Sorry I meant Ascending. You know my other Decending

When I have this set, I can click on any post and it will show me the oldest post, the first one that started the topic first, then sort to the newest or last reply. 

If this doesn't answer your question, I guess I don't understand your question. 

It seems to - if you select ascending - and then click save?

Also there is an option just above your origonal post on the right hand side to choose oldest-newest or newest-oldest as well.

Yes that is the correct answer, but on my antiquated 11 year old PC it functions as Sangathor described with the exception of my scroll bar moves to the bottom & I have to press the Home button to scroll back to the top.

Yes however this option sorts the selected topic while the other sorts globally as the default for all.

How can you get the scroll bar to start at the top all the time? I am haveing the same issue, I click on a new topic and it starts with the last post.
