Warrior of the Month

Trend setting, ground breaking, innovative, and just plain sick Roadstar Warrior's

June 2007 - Attila

Attila arrived on the RSWarrior.com scene in mid 2006 after he picked up a used 2003 model in Titanium.  He quickly set about making this beast his own with a range of initial mods such as a single seat, Bub Chambermaid exhaust, VBAK, AIS removal and a PCIII.  A Yamaha lower cowl, mini fairing and Speedstar air intake cover followed shortly afterwards but this was only the start, a more ambitious project was at hand……

The problem that Attila faced was to develop a theme for the bike that was not only unique but was a subject that had great personal meaning to him also.  As he is an Ex Serviceman, it was no surprise to some of us when he announced that his theme was to be ‘Remembrance’, in honour of all servicemen and women who had fallen in the service of their country.  Work started over the winter of 2006/7 and took approximately 4 months to complete.  Attila worked at JJ Customs with the team throughout helping out wherever he could.  The final outcome, as you can see, is truly stunning, a blue marbleized base with the main graphical scene depicting WWI soldiers heading into battle, the main fuel tank is flanked by the Union flag of Great Britain.  Forks, side panels, air intakes and upper and lower cowls are also painted in marbleized blue (which has got to be seen in person to be appreciated.)  Used 20mm & 50cal brass cannon shells have been engineered and adapted as front foot pegs and foot controls.  An engraved belt guard and modified and embroidered single seat all help to finish off the overall theme of the bike.

Attila is only the third English member of our website to win Warrior of the Month.  His theme and unique artwork coupled with the ‘one off’ parts really hit the sweet spot with the voters and he deservedly polled 34 of the 51 votes cast.  His Warrior has now appeared in some of the largest Custom Shows in the UK and is also now featured on some prominent English MC Club websites.  Watch this space for some forthcoming magazine coverage of this truly stunning and thought provoking Warrior.
